Which bindings do you have for those skis? I got a pair of Stance 80 skis with the plate already installed but I'm having difficulties getting the the bindings to fit the plate that's already installed.

Salomon really need to revert to simple flat laces. The round laces on the Ultra pro GTX mid come undone easily and need to be tucked in under cross laces, but even then they lace knots tend to loosen up which negates the purpose of having shoe laces to secure your feet snuggly for support. The loop on the low Ultra Pro GTX pull laces are way too long which is a tripping hazard and also need to be tucked under cross laces. My partner and I own both shoes and we swapped out the laces to flat ones. If you spend Australian $300-350 on a pair of shoes, you would expect them to have laces that actually work. Poor from Salomon. Fix this! Besides this the shoe is great

Been checking these out, nobody can explain what the performance of the boot is, s it better why? Get in your edge better? Less foot fatigue? What’s the performance factor? Just because it’s convenient to tighten who cares ??

Which binding size is ideal for this ski? 90mm or 100mm?

I actually got the Forza 40° from a french ski rental believing it was an all mountain ski (the employee told me so) and used it like that. Worked fine until I tried to carve with it on 80 km/h (50 mi/h) and crashed hard. It's surprisingly effective in deep powder though.

Honestly I don't see the usefulness of the BOA system for ski boots. Unless you have a very low volume foot in a medium volume ski boot. My lower buckles just hold enough pressure to keep them in place, and that's plenty. Any more and my foot feels squeezed. Like a migraine for my foot. Ski boots if picked properly for fit, molded, and a custom foot bed. You shouldn't have to use much pressure over the forefoot. BOA is a great system when replacing laces. Otherwise for a ski boot it's a gimmick.

What’s the difference between addikt and addikt pro?

I have a set of cat tracks that basically does the same thing, but it saves the toes & heels from wear & tear pushing replacement of toes & heels well into the future. Quick tip: buy or order you're heel & toe replacements when you buy new boots because it'll be impossible to find them in 2-3 years. Replacement liners are pretty easy to find when the old liners pack out in 30-50 days.

I live in Germany and mostly I Go skiing here or in Austria. Because of that I have to expect warmer days and bad snow from time to time. Is the Addikt or the Addikt Pro better for this case? I testet the Pro Last year and fell in love but that was on perfect snow and I am worried that it isnt going to be fun on softer / warmer Snow. Is the 72mm under foot of the regular the Solution to my problem ?

My 25 year old race skis are 70 under foot and they still rock..

But if you're are not an advanced skier i.e. level 7 in skills, it'll be to much ski for you to handle.

All-being-well after the 2023 season if I can parallel on greens and easy blues when I purchase my first ski's in 2024 these will be on my short list.

Great Video! I consider myself an intermediate skier not fully engaged in carving just yet but working to get better this year. I love the Mantras M6 and will be purchasing them soon, will these skis help me progress into carving? Or are they to advanced for me? I really want to start moving out of my skidding phase and focus more on carving this season, I feel this might be the right ski. Thoughts?

Just hired these. Absolutely superb. I’m an advanced level 58 year old, 179cm tall, and skied a 173cm ski. Great edge grip, powerful rebound, playful and decent in powder.

It’s a very accessible ski and a lot of fun
